Mena Alexandra suvari born February 13, 1979, in America is an actress as well as a fashion designer and model. Soon after her first job as a model, she moved into acting, after appearing as a guest on 90's television shows such as Boy Meets World and High Incident. The first time she appeared in film was her performance in 1997's drama Nowhere. Her transition into big roles through her appearances as a character in American Beauty for which she received nominations for a BAFTA Award and American Pie both of which earned the attention of the world. After that, she appeared as the protagonist in Sugar & Spice (2000) alongside American Pie star Jason Biggs. She had appearances in the 2002 acclaimed independent drama Spun and in the 2004 thriller feature Trauma. Also, she starred in HBO the drama Six Feet Under. The drama was popular in 2004 and in 2005, the Screen Actors Guild awarded her the title of one of the most outstanding actors. She was also cast in Day of the Dead, The Mysteries of Pittsburgh, as well as the movie versions of The Garden of Eden. Suvari appeared in fashion-related blogs as well as in magazines like Vogue as well as Lancome Paris Adaptive print ads.
